MORE! All of Italy is spectacular. However, Abruzzo is the last undiscovered region of Italy. In Abruzzo, even the tourists are Italian. It is known as the greenest region in all of Europe. Be prepared to be amazed and mesmerized by Abruzzo’s beauty.
Absolutely not. You’ll be accompanied by your hosts at most times, and when not, we’re only a cell phone call away. In stores, many sales representatives speak enough English to get the job done for you.
We want to provide an extreme Italian experience for you. Therefore, we will only take along two or three couples, a few singles, or a family or two, but usually not less than three and not more than ten people. Exceptions can be made for larger groups traveling together.
The Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is the best and most common red wine of the region. The Pecorino and Trebbiano are the best white wines of the region. For more information click here: http://www.abruzzopresto.com/region/the-wine/
. The best wines are not exported!
Yes, but we always encourage singles to join our trips. There is typically a $125/night “Single Supplement” if a single room is required.
Indeed it is! If you’ve been dreaming of visiting Italy, now is the best time to book your trip. With the best exchange rate in recent years, you’ll get more for your dollar when traveling to Italy this year.
You book your flights, we take care of the rest. The trip will generally include private transfers from and to the airport plus other transportation. The rest is all-inclusive, including three meals per day, with plenty of wine if desired. (We do not cover the cost of personal items or incidentals.)
The tour price does not include additional alcoholic beverages beyond those provided. We do, however, include wine, water and coffee with most meals.
AbruzzoPresto will pick up all your tips to vendors for all food, drinks, lodging and activities (so that you are not wondering how and what to do in that regard). However, if you feel so inclined to tip your hosts at the end of your tour (that would be us), then you may graciously to do so – but only if the service we provided exceeded your expectations!
